’Twas the Day Before Christmas Break

'Twas the day before Christmas break, and all through the halls,
Laughter and cheer echoed off lockers and walls.
In cozy pajamas of red, green, and white,
Our students arrived filled with festive delight.

A yummy buffet-thanks to parents so kind-
Was joyfully enjoyed by the pajama-clad crowd.
While hallways stood proudly with a generous sight,
674 boxes of cereal stacked just right.

All ready for giving to FISH and West Suburban, too,
A beautiful lesson in caring and sharing shone through.
So thank you, dear parents, for all that you do,
Your support and your spirit mean so much to us, truly.

And cheers for our Gingerbreads, spirited and bright,
Who sprinkle our school days with laughter and light.
What a joyful way to end the term just right-
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
