Uniforms

Students are required to be in complete uniform coming to school and going home, unless a staff member allows them to change for an after school activity. Out of uniform times occur only with administrative approval.

Girls

Kindergarten - 5th (required)

  • Dunbar plaid shift or jumper with white long sleeve or short sleeve collared blouse OR
  • Navy twill pants with white long sleeve or short sleve polo shirt
  • Navy or white socks which cover the ankle or tights
  • Navy cardigan sweater (optional)

Summer uniform option: April 1 - October 31

  • Navy shorts may be worn.

Junior High - 6th-8th (required)

  • Dunbar plaid skirt, khaki skort or khaki twill pants
  • White long sleeve or short sleeve oxford cloth shirt (sweater vest, sweater, or fleece must be worn with white shirt.) or navy short sleeve polo
  • Knee socks or tights (navy, white, grey, or maroon)
  • Navy v-neck sweater vest, long sleeve navy sweater, or navy fleece with school logo (Optional)

Summer uniform option: April 1 - October 31

  • Khaki shorts may be worn.

Boys

Kindergarten - 5th (required)

  • Navy twill pants
  • Light blue long sleeve or short sleeve polo shirt
  • Navy or white crew socks
  • Navy cardigan sweater (optional)

Junior High - 6th-8th (required)

  • Khaki pants
  • Light blue long sleeve or short sleeve oxford shirt or short sleeve navy polo
  • Belt (black or brown)
  • Navy, white, black, or brown crew socks (solid color only)
  • Navy fleece with school logo (optional)

Summer uniform option: April 1 - October 31

  • Khaki shorts may be worn.

Please Note

Slacks, pants or shorts must be plain navy or khaki depending on your grade-level. The waist should be at the natural waistline. All slacks, pants and shorts must be purchased from our uniform provider.

Shoes - Sturdy dress shoes or solid color gym shoes (described below) must be worn with the school uniform. Dress shoes must be in the colors of black, brown, or navy. Shoes must be buckle, tie or loafer style and be made of leather or leather-like material. Rubber-soled shoes are recommended. Gym shoes for daily school wear must be solid black or navy with no obvious logo. Please check with the office if you are unsure.

Out of Uniform Guidelines

Students may wear

  • jeans (without holes or rips)
  • tennis shoes
  • short socks
  • shorts no shorter than three inches above the knee
  • skirts no shorter than directly above the knee
  • skorts
  • sweatshirts
  • dresses
  • slacks/pants

Students may NOT wear

  • flip-flop sandals
  • no open back shoes
  • tank tops
  • T-shirts with inappropriate writing
  • tennis shoes that convert to roller skates
  • bike shorts
  • pajama pants – yoga clothing
  • make-up
  • low cut blouses/tops
  • clothing that is extremely tight
  • hats
  • leggings

Good Rule: If you think you shouldn’t wear it, you shouldn’t. Teachers will enforce the dress code policy. A dress code violation will be given to a student if there is an infraction. The notice must be signed and returned to school the next day and the violation must be corrected by the next day as well.

Uniform Resale

Two times a year, the PSO will have a uniform resale in the PAR. Please note, dates are typically in late July/August and January. Watch the School Newsletter for more details.
