What our teachers say about working at SJA:

"As a teacher at St. Joan of Arc School, I feel genuinely grateful (and responsible) for each and every child that I teach. Our parents are dedicated, involved, and incredibly gracious and supportive. At SJA we work together with our families by celebrating successes and working through challenges to foster an environment where students feel like confident learners. It's that partnership that makes our time together a real community of Christ's followers."
— Mrs Graves, 4th/5th Grade teacher

“Teaching is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. It is a job that requires patience, creativity, and dedication, but the rewards are immeasurable. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for learning with others at such an outstanding school as St. Joan of Arc. SJA is known for its strong sense of community. Students, teachers, administrators, and parents all work together to create a supportive and welcoming environment. Most importantly, students attend weekly Mass and are taught about Catholic beliefs and values, instilling in them a sense of faith, kindness, compassion, and service to others.”
— Mrs Svitak, 8th grade teacher

What our parents say about the SJA teachers:

“The parents at SJA appreciate that our teachers have chosen the ministry of Catholic education. Our faith centers us and brings us together. And when I say "us", I mean the parents, children, teachers and parish community. The word "family" means more to a St. Joan of Arc parent because it includes the school and its teachers. The tradition of excellent educators at SJA is important to us. And for that reason, we want to support and show our appreciation to our teachers any chance we get. We fill the rooms at Open House, the Church at weekly Mass, and the gym at athletic contests (not to mention the staff fridge and pantry) because we want to show our love for the school and everyone in it.”
— Mr Jackson, SJA parent and former School Advisory Board President
