St Joan of Arc Catholic School earns 2023 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School recognition for academic excellence
12/04/2023 | School NewsU.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recognized St Joan of Arc Catholic School as a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School based on the school's high academic performance. St Joan of Arc was honored alongside 353 other schools across the nation at a recognition ceremony held Nov. 16-17 in Washington.
“The honorees for our 2023 National Blue Ribbon Schools Award have set a national example for what it means to Raise the Bar in education,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. “The leaders, educators, and staff at our National Blue Ribbon Schools continually inspire me with their dedication to fostering academic excellence and building positive school cultures that support students of all backgrounds to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.”
St. Joan of Arc was recognized as an “exemplary high performing” school, a category in which schools are recognized among their state’s highest performing schools as measured by state assessments or nationally-normed tests. We have been blessed to receive this award three times having previously been awarded in 1986 and 2011.
We are extremely proud of our school community and are grateful to be part of the less than 1% of schools recognized across the country for academic excellence.
