Nov 24- Ongoing: ANNUAL SCHOOL APPEAL
Should I support the Annual School Appeal?
It is one of the largest fundraisers for the school. Donations come from parishioners, parents, alumni, family, staff and friends. As unrestricted funds, they go directly to the operating budget. The school budget is sourced first by tuition, second by St. Joan of Arc School fundraisers, and lastly by the parish subsidy.
2) Why is my participation important?
Your support is so very important to the financial health of the school. Annual School Appeal dollars have a direct impact on the experiences of our students and the education offered at St. Joan of Arc School. You are funding the most essential expenses as we strive to be academically competitive and spiritually well-grounded.
3) Where does my donation actually go?
Your gift reaches many different areas of St. Joan of Arc School, such as classroom resources and upgrades, technology assistance including the purchase and upkeep of Chromebooks, smartboards, laptops and computers. School-wide security updates and learning resources for math, science, music and art are just a few of the items the operating budget will cover.
4) Is it possible to double my donation to the Annual School Appeal?
Yes it is!! Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to non-profit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, he/she can request a matching gift from his/her employer, who then makes their own donation. Please click HERE to see if your company participates in a matching donation program!
