International Peace Day

September 21 is designated International Peace Day.  One of the ways it is commemorated all around the world is through a project called Pinwheels for Peace. Students in Ms. Doyle's Social Studies and Religion classes created their own pinwheels and junior high students helped to install them on the Junior High walkway. Each pinwheel has an answer the to question, "What can nations do to foster world peace?" written by the students.
