Saint Joan of Arc staff and students gathered together on Friday, September 9 for a peace rally. To kick off the event the entire staff and student body created a gigantic peace sign.  The mayor of Lisle came and spoke to the students encouraging them to continue to spread peace one person at a time.  Father Gabriel blessed the school flag and several students led prayers and songs about peace.  The event concluded with each individual class creating a circle of ribbons representing peace and then tying the ribbons together to create a large circle of peace.
