Happy Wednesday!
Thank you so much to all the mom and dad’s who brought in straws, tissues and paper towels. We all appreciate them.
I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend! I did!
I will be assessing the Toad on their letters, letter sounds and actions this week. We have been practicing everyday!
We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss the week on March 6th – 9th. (no school on March 5th)
If you would like to come in and read your favorite Dr. Seuss Book to us during our celebration. Please send me an email to let me know which book and which day. You can read when you drop off or at 10:15! Please invite grandparents too!
Have a great week

We are using the Aimsweb student assessment system at our school to help meet the needs of our students. Today, students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will bring home their Aimsweb results in their Wednesday envelopes. The Aimsweb assessments are used to screen students, assess academic growth, identify those who may need interventions, and drive instruction. Students in 3rd through 5th grades were administered two (eight minute) math assessments called the M-CAP and the M-Comp. Students in 4th and 5th grades were also administered a three minute reading comprehension assessment called the MAZE. These are brief screening tests, but the scores are standardized and national percentiles are given. Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you have questions on the assessment results.
