This will be the last week for Pickle Ball for grades 5 through 8. The PE Department at Benet Academy lent us the paddles and we are very grateful to them. Jr. High will continue with their flag football unit also.
This week grade 4 will work on relay races and play pillo polo. 3rd grade will also play pillo polo and grades 1 & 2 will play Car Drivers.

We have introduced a new game to the Jr. High. Pickle Ball! It is a combination tennis, badminton and ping pong. The kids have to really work hard in order to maintain control of the ball within the court limits. Fun to watch and play! Football teams will continue to go outside, weather permitting, this week also.
5th grade will also be introduced to Pickle Ball this week. We will use a whiffle ball with them to slow down the pace of the ball until they have had practice. 4th grade will play 4 goal soccer and 1st through 3rd grades will play pillo polo.
Mrs. B had her last Kindergarten gym class on Friday. We said our goodbyes and spoke about how gym classes will be a little bit longer next year. We will also introduce the 1st graders to the Presidential Physical Fitness Test next year.

Parents, look for Tivoli Bowl free bowling passes in Wednesday’s envelope. The good people at Tivoli gave us passes for all of our students when we returned the indoor bowling lanes. How nice!
Jr. High continues flag football this week. Indoors we will play pickle ball. Kindergarten through 5th grade continues their games unit.
7th grade Team Building classes had a boys vs. girls rope climbing competition last Friday. The kids had a very good time.

Weather permitting, Jr. High will continue with their flag football unit. Indoor play will consist of badminton, whiffle ball and pickle ball.
Elementary will begin another games unit. This week after stretching, we will play some old favorites. Kindergarten had a great time bowling the past two weeks. They will play some of their favorite games too.

Parents, remember this is the last week for your child to complete the Fitness Logs for Raging Waves Water Park. They are due 4/30.
Jr. High will play flag football outdoors this week. Indoors we will play badminton and whiffle ball. Kindergarten through 5th grade will continue with bowling this week.
On Friday, we have our drama production in the gym. We will have to find available classrooms for our gym classes. If the weather is nice, we will hold our classes outside.
