Eighth- The Pearl final-well done!
Present novel-The Outsiders-Notetaking-Character Form-Vocabulary-Two-Three quizzes-Final-Two projects-Dates to be assigned later.
Seventh-The Call of the Wild-Novel is completed-Word analogies and Characterization sheet due 4/17. Test on 7—4/18 Final on the novel 4/24.
Sixth-Bearstone 7-11 packet due 4/19

Confirmation was a special evening—so nice to see siblings/former students.

With spring break upon us, wishing you all fun and relaxation!
Eighth-Final trimester underway-time to fine tune many areas. This week chapter 3 in The Pearl will be covered. The importance of faith, family and friends is stated. Special attention will be given to Simile & Metaphor, and Compare/Contrast. Test on 3/21.
Seventh-Call of the Wild, chapter 3 & 4. Special attention to Setting & Mood and Conflict. Test on 3/22.
Sixth-Continuing with the impact of murals(our SJA mural is outside the tech center featuring St. Joan of Arc) and attention to detail we will look at “Outdoor Art in America”. Last week we designed our own Wall of Respect here at SJA. I am so proud of their contributions!

Eighth- We are saying farewell to the Finch family and TKAM. Many of life’s lessons have been discussed. This week we will be sharing our projects. QND+P!
The Pearl needs to be purchased any day this week—-ready for class on 3/5. New= $7 Used= $4 All books are in room 105.
Seventh- The Red Badge of Courage has been completed. All Regiment Flags will be presented—QND+P!
The Call Of The Wild can be purchased any day this week in room 105. New= $3 Used= $2 Deadline 3/5.
Sixth- Where The Red Fern Grows—projects will be presented. QND+P! A skills packet will be given during the week.
