CONFIRMATION

1) Dear 8th Grade Parents and Confirmation Students,
As part of the Confirmation process, students are expected to perform a final Confirmation Service Project in addition to completing their 30 service hours for graduation and Confirmation.
During the week of April 2-12, 2012 all SJA Confirmation students are asked to bring in new school supplies that will be donated to Sister Carolyn’s Adopt a Student Program.
Each student is asked to earn the money to purchase school supplies that students could use next fall when they return to school. Students are asked to do the actual shopping for items that would help students who don’t have the funds to purchase school supplies. Notebook paper, folders, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, markers, backpacks, index cards, etc.; would be much appreciated.
Suggested donations should be in the $5.00 to $10.00 range. Last year over $800.00 of school supplies were donated and distributed to St. Joan of Arc students.
Containers will be located in Mr. Gormley’s room. Students bringing in items need to show Ms. Doyle and Mr. Gormley before placing items in the containers.
