About St. Joan of Arc School

History

When Cardinal George Mundelein granted permission to establish St. Joan of Arc Parish in Lisle, the new parish included 93 families drawn from Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Naperville and St. Joseph Parish in Downers Grove.

Alumni

"The definition of alumni is "A graduate or former student of a school" but at St. Joan of Arc it means so much more! While the child may have grown into an adult there still exists a faint echo in these hallowed halls. The smiles and laughter, the years of study, the close friendships that quite possibly have slipped away can come back to you through memories.

Protecting God's Children

The Protecting God's Children™ Program

Out of concern for the safety and well-being of children, every diocesan, parish, school or religious education employee or volunteer who is involved with minors on a regular, recurring basis and those who may have an opportunity to be alone with children during parish, school or religious education sponsored events, are required to attend a Virtus Protecting God’s Children program.

Of all the safe environment programs available, Protecting God's Children was selected for the Joliet Diocese. It was determined to be the best possible program primarily because it is comprehensive, professional and appealing.

Additional Information Related to Protecting Children at the Diocese of Joliet can be found at http://www.dioceseofjoliet.org/protecting.asp

Welcome

In an effort to continually strengthen itself, the administration and faculty of SJA are in a constant state of evaluation. The characteristics of the student body and curriculum offered are repeatedly studied to be sure that needs are being met, children are challenged to learn, Gospel messages are being lived, and learning potential is being fulfilled. Along with the required subject matter, academic challenges are offered through projects and programs in a wide range of areas.

We welcome you to take some time and give our website a good look. Then come on in and we'll be happy to give you a tour. In the true spirit of the Benedictine tradition our doors are always open and we're happy to see you.
